Are you ready for Sale-a-bration?  Demonstrators and customers alike all love this time of year when Stampin Up offers their annual Sale-a-bration sale.  Yay!! Its almost time to kick off our most anticipated sale… which starts January 4th.

Many of you received Sale-a-bration Catalogs from me, from your demonstrator or from Stampin Up if you are a Demonstrator, Right! Grab your catalog and turn to page #5.   Its here you’ll find this beautiful set, Avant Garden.

It reminds me a lot of Easter!  Therefore, I thought I would get your wheels turning and give you some fun ideas and inspiration on how I used this set.  I hope you enjoy them!!

Don’t forget this set is only available for a limited time and can’t be purchased. In order to receive this set you will need to place a qualifying order.

Base:

  1. Cut a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock and fold it in half.  This is your base.

Stamped Background:

  1. Cut a  3-14″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Old Olive Cardstock.
  2. Using a Old Olive Ink Pad to stamp  this piece with your Old Olive stamp pad and flower.  This will create your background.
  3. Adhere your stamped old olive background to the bottom of your card.
  4. Layer and Adhere your ½” x 4-1/4” strip of So Saffron over your Old Olive cardstock.
  5. Using a Crushed Curry Ink pad to stamp images on ½” x 4-1/4” strip. Center and adhere this piece on top of your So Saffron Strip.

Flower:

  1. Cut a 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of So Saffron Cardstock.  This is to layer under your image.
  2. Cut a 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock.  You’ll stamp your image on this piece.
  3. Stamp your flower using Old Olive for stem & leaves and Crushed Curry for Flower.
  4. The center of the flower was stamped in Archival Basic Black.
  5. Repeat this process on scrap paper so that you can cut out pieces to layer on top of your original image.
  6. Cut out a Crushed Curry Flower to adhere to the top of your stamped flower. Do the same with the stem. This gives the card dimension.
  7. Adhere your white rectangle with your image to the So Saffron cardstock. Use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere it to the top of your card.
  8. Don’t forget to add a Basic Black Sentiment.

    I am anxious to order the Avant Garden set.
    So now let’s see if this old lady can find the site to purchase from. Lol
